GENERAL INFORMATION

Authors will need to register at the registration desk once they first arrive at the Congress to collect their accreditations and other Congress materials. Registration will be on 18th July 2013. Please make sure that you register then, because the OC WILL NOT ACCEPT late registrations. Participants have to put their posters on marked place or to give CD presentation on registration desk. Participants can take place in some of following groups:

1. Oral Presentations:

The presentations will be held in parallel sessions whereupon each participant is given 7 minutes for his presentation followed by 3 minutes for discussion. We do ask you to keep your talk strictly limited to 7 minutes in order to avoid any delays and keep the lectures synchronous. All lecture halls are provided with laptops and projectors for the presentations, overhead projectors, and microphones. Your presentation should either be prepared in PowerPoint or PDF.

Furthermore, you should hand in your presentation in advance – either by e-mail before the conference (science@imscns.com) or on an USB-stick, CD or DVD at the registration desk.

At the same time we strongly recommend to bring a backup version of your presentation to your talk.

2. Poster Presentations:

Posters should be approximately A0 in size, preferably in portrait format. You have to bring your printed poster to the conference and you will be able to put it up well in advance of the poster session. Mounting material will be provided by us. You have to present your work on poster. There will be 7 minutes for presentation followed by 3 minutes for discussion. You should be prepared to answer questions about your poster during the poster session. Posters are an important part of the Congress and remain in place throughout.

Posters should be designed for clear viewing from the distance so that they can be viewed by a number of people at the same time. To ensure visual effectiveness of your poster, use large lettering and a minimum of text.

3. Passive participants make the audience who do not present their research work in the Congress.

Important notice: Please keep in mind that the audience consists of students of various biomedical sciences ranging from undergraduate to PhD level. Step back and think about what this particular audience might like to learn from your work. Thus it might be better to present a more general introduction to the topic and not your latest top-notch research findings. Keep it simple – remember: less is more.

It is not possible to change between poster and oral presentation during the congress. Please ensure that you keep to the program timetable. The oral or poster presentations must be presented by only one person, in case of participant's delay, there will be no presentation. Review works and case reports will not be accepted in scientific program. The OC is not responsible for damage or loss of the research work.

CONGRESS EQUIPMENT

The following audio-visual equipment will be in every session room at the Congress:

 • Data Projector (video beam)
 • PC compatible computers with Windows 7.
