Dunavska st and Zmaj Jovina st are main social, cultural and shopping streets in the old city centre, vivid and picturesque will not leave you indifferent. Museum tour


The Museum of Vojvodina, one of the oldest and the richest museum institutions in Serbia, keeps the objects of rare artistic and museum value which are important for the history and the culture of the people in Vojvodina. The City Museum of Novi Sad displays the permanent exhibition 'Novi Sad, Its Past and Present' and is located in The Gunboat building at the Petrovaradin Fortress, itself the historical monument. Considering the beauty of the collections, there is no doubt you'll find these places both interesting and exciting.

The Matica Srpska Gallery exhibits chronologically the art works most valuable for the national history of art. The Memorial Collection of Pavle Beljanski gallery and The Rajko Mamuzic Donative Collection gallery keep the exceptional art works of the Serbian 20th century fine art. All three are situated at The Gallery Square. And what about contemporary art? Well-known artists in their studios at the Petrovaradin Fortres will tell you the answer.
