Planes from all over the world arrive to the airport in Surcin which is located about 70km from Novi Sad (about one hour of driving), and about 15km from Belgrade. There is a regular bus line towards Belgradebus and Belgrade railway station every hour. The price of a ticket is 120 CSD (about 1.5 EUR). Besides the bus, you may use a taximeter cab. The website of Belgrade Airport is www.beg.aero, You can find flight schedule there too. The Jat Airways company's website is www.jat.co.yu. Every 15 minutes there is a bus from Belgrade to Novi Sad. Ticketprice is about 420 CSD (ca. 5 EUR). There is a train line too, but they don't operate too frequently. The ticket price is about 160 CSD (2EUR).

Novi Sad is situated on the Vienna-Budapest-Belgrade-Istanbul railway. Besides this important railway there are trains from Zagreb and Ljubljana. There are everyday regular bus lines to Novi Sad from Vienna, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Budapest...
The Bus and the Railway station are next to each other. The city buses depart every 5 to 10 minutes. Ticket price is about 25 CSD (0.30 EUR) for a ride. Tickets are bought in the bus. Single-day tickets can be purchased at the bus company windows, and are a bit more favorable. There is also a taxicab transport, which is affordable (about 30 CSD(0.35 EUR) per 1 km). People should pay attention as there is acertain number of illegal taxicabs where the prices can reach to up to 5 times more than normal.
