FACULTY OF MEDICINE

 

The Faculty of Medicine, as a part of the University of Novi Sad, was founded on May 18th, 1960. Today the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad is a modern high-educational, scientific institution which activities, beside undergraduate and postgraduate studies, include scientific research (basic, developmental, applied) in the field of medicine and dentistry; health care as prescribed by the Law and publishing activities- textbooks, handbooks, practical course manuals, monographs and other publications. Since the establishing of the Faculty of Medicine 4806 students of medicine have graduated from it, 614 medical doctors have acquired the academic title of a Master of Medical Science, and 456 have acquired the academic title of Doctor of Medical Science. During the last several years the Faculty established one-semester courses providing professional advanced training and innovations of knowledge in different fields of medicine.

SSMF

 

SSMF is the oldest student organization on Medical faculty in Novi Sad. It has been founded in 1960. SSMF is responsible for facilitating student activities during there studies such as sport, research and scientific work, publishing and in other fields.

 

 

EMSA

 

EMSA Novi Sad, member of EMSA Europe, work as committee of SSMF, with it's projects like Teddy Bear Hospital, Eurotalk, Twinning Project, IMSCNS (International Medical Students Congress Novi Sad) and others.
